Wikipedia, vía WWW, July 21, 2016: (Elías Trabulse Atala was born in Mexico City, January 30, 1942. He is a Mexican chemist, historian, writer, researcher and academic. He has specialized in the history of science and technology in Mexico from the sixteenth to the twentieth century, has devoted himself to the study of the manuscripts of Carlos Sigüenza and Góngora to establish the chronology of ancient Mexico. He graduated in Chemistry from 1960 to 1964 at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He is a full-time researcher at El Colegio de México, a member of the History of Science Society since 1968, of the Spanish Society of History of Science since 1978, of the Mexican Society of History of Science and Technology since 1979, and of the Latin American Society of History of Science and Technology since 1983. Joined the Mexican Academy of History as a full member in 1980 where he occupies the 13. 4 seat.
