Digital Holographic Memories -- The Transfer Function of Volume Holographic Optical Systems -- Photorefractive Memories for Optical Processing -- True-Time-Delay Adaptive Array Processing Using Photorefractive Crystals -- Photorefractive Mesogenic Composites for Applications to Image Processing -- Solid-State Lasers with a Photorefractive Phase-Conjugate Mirror -- Dynamic Holographic Interferometry: Devices and Applications -- Self-Organizing Laser Cavities -- Slow and Fast Lights in Photorefractive Materials -- Holographic Filters -- Neutron Physics with Photorefractive Materials.
Resumen: In this third volume a series of applications on photorefractive nonlinear optics and optical data storage are presented. This and the other two volumes on photorefractive effects, materials and applications have been prepared mainly for researchers in the field, but also for physics, engineering and materials science students. Several chapters contain sufficient introductory material for those not so familiar with the topic to obtain a thorough understanding of the photorefractive effect. We hope that researchers active in the field will find these books to be a very valuable reference source. The other two volumes are: Photorefractive Materials and Their Applications 1: Basic Effects Photorefractive Materials and Their Applications 2: Materials
