Resumen: This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the IFIP WG 8.2 International Conference on the Role of Information Systems in Leveraging the Intelligence and Creativity of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, CreativeSME 2009, held in Guimarães, Portugal, in June 2009. The 19 refereed papers presented were carefully selected from numerous submissions. The contributions feature design, managerial, behavioral, and organizational challenges and issues for knowledge management and innovation processes, initiatives and systems. They are grouped in topical sections on creativity and innovation challenges, challenges in ensuring effective governance, challenges in managing knowledge, and organizational challenges, power and politics.
