Resumen: This is the third volume in a series edited and published by the Japan Environmental Council. Part l covers four topics: the military and the environment, the environment and trade, agriculture/food and the environment, and the biodiversity of forests and rice paddies. Part 2 uses the perspective of "regions" that straddle multiple countries to examine the problems unique to Northeast Asia, the Mekong region, and Inner Asia, and also discusses recent trends in 10 countries/regions. Japan, Republic of Korea, China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India. Part 3 analyzes data based on 22 topics.
